Rather than hold a Second Sunday Open House at the Dean House on Nov. 9th and Feb. 8th, the Board decided to try to establish a "Monona History Club" that will meet twice a year on the Second Sunday in November and February.
Pre-historic Indians in southern Wisconsin will be the topic of the first Monona History Club meeting sponsored by Historic Blooming Grove Historical Society and the Monona Public Library, to be held at the Monona Public Library, 1000 Nichols Road, Sunday, November 9th, from 2 to 4 pm.
Amy Rosebrough, archaeologist with the Wisconsin Historical Society, will present a PowerPoint program on the pre-historic Indians of southern Wisconsin with an emphasis on Dane County. The event is free and open to the public
